Granola and Cereal Bar Recipe, by Virgínia Chaves

I was never very granola fan, ate sometimes with acai or some fruit, but not me fisgava. The rod then not even talk, bought some and they were forgotten in the scholarship fund, only remembered when hunger too pressed and all other snacks had already finished. But now it's different. In the kitchen I work here in London produce virtually all, including this recipe for granola and cereal bar that will journaling kit who does detox and then fell in love and I need to control myself not to eat too!!

So I decided to share here with you this wonder, interest that is much easier to do than we think and is much better than the industrialized.

Granola

Ingredients:
200g of oat flakes thick
150g shelled hazelnuts (Nuts may be, almonds, cashew nut)
50g sunflower seeds (may be sesame, squash)
50g dry coconut flakes (can be grated, sugar free)
150g of dried fruit - like using goji and raisins
1 tsp ground cinnamon
5 tbsp honey
5 tbsp of corn oil or canola (I want to try with coconut oil)

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 180 ° C.
Mix oats with honey and oil and bake. She needs crisp, it will take at least a 30 minutes, but it is good to go looking from time to time and mixing.

In another pan, also bake the nuts and seeds. The time is less, us 10 minutes and are ready. Reserve. When oats are well crisp and golden, remove from oven and mix with nuts, as dried fruits, cinnamon and coconut chips. Then store in a glass container and consume up to 2 weeks in advance.

Ingredients:
100gr oats
100gr mel
100gr pistachio picado (can go varying the nuts to not get sick)
1 tbsp canola oil
2 tsp flax seeds
50gr goji or chopped dates
20g of raisins or chopped apricots

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 170 ° C.
Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix. Place the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and flatten with a wooden spoon. Cover the mixture with parchment paper and place another baking sheet on top, then, push down to completely flatten the mixture. Do not squeeze too hard or bars will be very hard. Remove the extra baking paper and butter the top and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and cool completely. Cut into rectangles or squares and pack individually or leave in a closed pot and consume up to 10 days.
